The Founder (2017)

This movie came out in 2017 and I didn't know anything about this film until I found it on the Android box before it got broken. The Founder stars Michael Keaton (Batman) as Ray Kroc who becomes this guy in the 50 or 60's that found two brothers McDonald's when they first started in San Bernardino, CA. Their burgers was 15 cents. In this society, we would've been jumping on that right now. Except McDonald's burgers are now $2 or so depends on the state tax. The two brothers, Richard and Maurice McDonald tried to get their restaurant through an overpass although they had to cut it into pieces for their restaurant to fit. So, they had a small facility to start out with. They had people come up to the window to order the food and they place 15 cents down. And you could see the action of how they made the burgers. It was a start of McDonald's and now we have neon yellow signs everywhere in the city. Ray Kroc also made McDonald's Corporation which is now today. It also portrays how Ray did his business with the two brothers. You started to like the guy in the beginning until in the middle is like.. what the freak happened?

I remember the Muncie McDonald's which is still called Mickey D's and it still has Mayor Cheeseburger as their old fashion sign and says Old-Fashioned burgers. They still have it there and the side door that the employees go out is amazing because they bring out the food to the car. I remembered the moral of each character, Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Chicken and Hamburglar. But Grimace scared me as a child. I was 9 or 10 I guess I didn't know this well, but his eyes looked like they follow you everywhere you go.

McDonald's is famous because of this film and I guess after the film I had to go out to McDonald's and get a Quarter Pounder. I love their Caramel Macchiato and Hot Chocolate. It tastes like real creamy milk and not watered down. I hate watered down hot chocolate. Yuck!

Mayor Cheeseburger used to be a thing way before Ronald McDonald at that time. Of course, it was the 70's so I know because  they used to have those strollers with wheels. Mine was gray, Ugh!

My favorite part of the film is the milkshake scene when the brothers open the box to vanilla and chocolate, but also he gives them STRAWBERRY packet. OMG! I used to love strawberry milkshakes when I was at that age. When the Founder was drinking the vanilla milkshake, I think people were crying about the McFlurry for it to come back.

My favorite part of the film was also when the Founder was like no and back and forth with the brothers on the phone. Hilariously, hilarious.

The part when they shook hands made me realize about how bad the character was. Now, that McDonald's is finally up there somewhere and glowing.

My favorite part was when Michael Keaton as Ray was trying to build it the first time that someone wrote on the fences (KFC menu look that up, please). Fried chicken, etc. on the fence. And the face was just priceless.

Eight Below (2006)

Eight Below came out in February 2006 and it was also on Cable TV at that time. It stars Paul Walker (Brian from Fast & the Furious). If I could remember right about this movie was to get out of the frozen tundra to get rescued. They were suppose to be scientists and exploring that region except a snowstorm comes in and with the dogs they couldn't be rescued at the end but left alone by themselves. The end was about Paul Walker getting into the helicopter. The ending made people cry because he had to leave the dogs.

I think this is so much more than Fast and the Furious (Ooops, did I just say that?). The difference is that Paul Walker's character in this film is more a loving and caring character. And that Paul Walker has to be an action figure in an action-packed film.

The film became part of the Rotten Tomatoes criticism. Around in 2006 was the time to either watch this movie around that time or go outside in the freezing cold. Nope!

The Final Cut (2004)

I remembered watching this on the Android box, which the movie came out in 2004. It stars Robin Williams (the Genie from Aladdin). When watching this movie, I thought it was going to be Mystery & Suspense, but there was no suspense in the film. It seems to be that except Robin Williams can portray as a serious character verses Mrs. Doubtfire. It is great to see someone transitioning into a different character than what we are normally thought of. (Hook, Genie, funny, etc.) This film portrays his character to take pictures of people's lives and if I could remember that the dead people that he film is being cut out of that person's life. I feel like it is more of a Mystery although the genre says that it is Action. You would probably come to some sort of agreement on that. Not a lot people were interested in the film. When taking a first peek of the film through the Android box, I thought that it was closely knit to what he would act, but no it's not like any other movie that he had done.

I watched other movies made by Robin Williams. They are either fantasy, funny or silly movies. Aladdin or Hook didn't come close maybe a little bit of Hook.

Mindhunters (2005)

This movie did some mind-blowing on me when I watched it and never knew this movie was also logical. It stars LL Cool J, Val Kilmer, Christian Slater, Patricia Velasquez, etc. You just have to pay close attention to this movie. My mom had this on VHS tape at that time and somewhat it was on Cable TV. I rewatched it when I had the Android box and of course trying to find out who the actual killer was.. It was...You will have to find that out on your own. The movie came out in 2005 right after The Manchurian Candidate movie. It portrays the FBI going to an island or city to practice. It was also suspense because among them was a killer which is on the island. As some of the FBI agents are getting Got from left to right that the numbers even shows up when the time of each person would die. If people had gone to school and learn mathematics, they would get the logical sense that it something to do with time. Because people in the film are wearing watches.

It is one of those films that will keep your jaw dropping for awhile until the edge. The edge is a finale who did what. I guess people weren't as interested in this movie. I was because I am always liking to think when watching films. How did stuff happened and when did it happened. You even try to think with the character in the movie. I think I already know the answer of who actually did the killing.

The Manchurian Candidate (2004)

I remembered watching this movie and lying can get you in so deep that the hole becomes a crater and getting stuck in it is a disaster. The Manchurian Candidate is a remake of the 1962, this came out when there was cable TV. I watched this on VHS tape when my mom had it. Understanding it thoroughly has to be logical and if you didn't you would have to rewind the tape in order to pay close attention to details.

The thing is that the president that was in the military is trying to win an election to become the President of the United States with his mom along the side is also helping him to win. Except that he killed the soldiers off to make it seem that the terrorists attacked them. Thus, creating a lie so that he would get elected into office. His mom is also deceitful to helping him to win the election. Except Denzel Washington's character knows what actually happened at that time of killing off the soldiers. The logical thing is what happened to the president and how he got elected to become in that position. And who was also behind it. He was and so was his mother.

If you haven't watched this movie, Oh my God, you have to read it like a book. It is absolutely good and I watched it to get to the end of this movie. It was clear that movies like this let the viewer or viewers use some logical sense. Putting things together is amazing. Denzel Washington plays his part as the character of Ben Marco. It also stars Meryl Streep and Liev Schreibner, etc.

You can also buy this on DVD or Blu-ray. It is an old movie around 2004, but it had my mind blown because either that logical sense for the viewer to think on their own and watching it. That's why it is Mystery & Suspense. I love it.

Suicide Squad (movies)

I seen this when it came out August 5, 2016. At that time I had the Android box of course it would've been too early and it wasn't out yet. So I had to wait for it to be released until I could finally watch it. I watched it and I actually like the movie. It seems that you would also like other characters as well in the movie. Harley Quinn and the Joker scene. I actually like Harley Quinn because of the cartoon version was supposed to be about Batman and she would be the villain. This is supposingly the opposite of a villain becoming a superhero. This is based off of DC Comics and I found a comic book while working in Clickgoodwill. Yes, it has something similar to it and I didn't get a chance to read it.

It also stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Viola Davis (she was a badass in this film). You have to see it for yourself. If you already did, you would know what I'm talking about in the film. I am going to get this film in Walmart or Target pretty soon. Because of course my Android box is broken and Amazon will not support it except for the stupid FireStick. I hate that thing. Because I like choosing my own shows and movies to watch. Yep! You know I am pissed off.

My favorite character in the movie was Harley Quinn and yes, the actress did an amazing job portraying the character and giving her the time of her life to shine. She isn't Catwoman or Wonder Woman, she is crazy but she does kick ass with a baseball bat. What not?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The very first encounter when I was 6 years old. I guess they are actually not the first because there were others before them like Jem and the Holograms, etc. There are four superheroes and each has their own weapons and attacks. I fell in love with this movie. It has April O'Neil and Casey Jones, Splinter and of course, Shredder. It goes back to the 80's cartoons as well. I am never going to forget the Tomatoes or the Rat King. My favorite is Leonardo in the pack. Leo has katanas, Raph has sais, Don has a bo staff and Mike has nunchucks. Each have their own personality. Leo is more a calm leader, Raph is all about going forward and kicking butt, Don is like a genius, and Mike is a party being and fun. They all live in the sewer with their sensai or master Splinter who uses archery as a weapon. I think people at that age was in love with this and the costumes made by Jim Henson, which he had also created Sesame Street and Muppets. Stop it! I can't take it (Muppet Babies).

This is the first film of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Raph, Leo, Don and Mike are back in the second film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Not many people like this movie because they rather have Casey Jones but instead they have Keno. The second film features Vanilla Ice at the end in the nightclub. I wished I did danced along with the ninja turtles. Except there are two giant creatures lurking out in NYC. Toka and Razar were supposed to be Rock Steady and Bebop as they would say, but it didn't make it any clearer to me because Rock Steady is a rhino and Bebop is a warthog, so I didn't see that clearly except for a turtle and a dog. Shredder has on the side is Todd. It seems that they couldn't put too much in this film. Of course, the budget in the 90's was probably limited. Who knows?

When people cry about the third film they cry about this...

It had Corey Feldman in this which I didn't know too much about. Well, because I didn't want to give away the magic. The third film has Leo, Raph, Mike and Don to go back into time into Japan 1913, which is medieval Japan. They become dressed up as guards looking for April who had been sucked into the time machine. They had also the real actors to play. I would say that TMNT 3 was sort of cut off really short until the end. You get the ending when Mike comes back down the ladder. I got all three films anyways because I became a fanatic of the Ninja Turtles.

Even their live version....

Leo, Don, Mike and Raph are at it again. I had to get the VHS tape and I watched it. Too bad I wasn't in NYC because I was living in Woodbridge at that time with my parents. This had Professor Stockman as the bad guy. I was hoping that he didn't turn into a fly. Don looks pink in the picture with sequins and stuff, but I guess they couldn't find purple. This show was a live show of them singing, acting, playing music and Shredder. Even kids were active out of their seats. They got souvenirs and stuff. That's okay I remembered I had a glow in the dark sword and I thought I was Leo for the day.

The Movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was produced by Michael Bay. It had Megan Fox as April O'Neil and this is just to discover the ninja turtles. This seems different from the first and the second movies that I've known. I can't forget the 80's cartoon because it came before all the movie platforms. The 80's cartoons had commercials in between and messages. The new movie I would share with my children and even the old because growing up with this kind of stuff was amazing. I became a tomboy so I had fun in England and I had a Michelangelo birthday cake. I think Mike looks more yellow than orange in the new movie. You think so?

The second movie got me going way back into tears...

Just because we might have left out some of the detail doesn't mean that nostalgia can't come back. Rock Steady and Bebop and also Krang. They are the most nostalgic part of the ninja turtles 80's cartoons. I guess with cartoons they would look too cartoonish. With so much effort into it is possible and Tyler Perry was playing as Professor Stockman. He was the evil side of Professor Stockman. I just hope that he doesn't turn into a fly. I hate the movie "The Fly" I can't stand it. I had ninja turtle toys as well. I had Raph and Mike, but I couldn't find Leo or Don. I had to deal with two Raphs being one of the turtles.

The 80's cartoon is so nostalgic that there are other variations of the cartoon growing into the new generation and many more.

I will also add a plush doll at the bottom of this page. I don't even have words to say at the end of this blog.

This is Totally Me

When I read this, I had some clarity about myself because I didn't I would probably be skipping out on something healthy. I know I needed to because I get grumpy, I get lightheaded, and I also complain. I am my own relationship and sometimes talking to yourself is kind of like a relationship if you don't do the thing that you're supposed to do. It is to survive. If it was me, I think I married myself or if I was talking to my husband or boyfriend in that sense of matter is directly at me.

This whole statement is very true to myself and I know what I have to do. I am always trying to be the leader and not the follower. I am always leading in my own path to do something and sometimes Leaders can get stressed and try to fight a wall or yell at something because we just need to let all this stuff out. Or just stop being a baby and go eat. Just like I always try to yell at my Sim when they need to go use the restroom, but just standing there and waiting or talking to somebody.

I found this on Google Plus from my old Samsung Galaxy 4 phone. We will be departed, goodbye so soon. (Ratigan's words)

Work Master Slip Resistant Shoes

I purchased these comfortable black flat shoes also on the weekend. They were $69.99, but I had a discount if I was to purchase one and get a second pair for free. And I did just that. These are comfortable for casual, for work and they don't slip off. I wear it with regular socks or pairs of jeans. I worn these at my interview once and they are comfortable against slippery white flooring. I wear a size 9 most of the time because 9.5 are somehow got too big. Usually, in men's I wear 8.5.

Sorry I don't have a second picture of these, but I bought these at Rack Room Shoes. I needed a pair of new shoes because I have some old white sneakers that came from Zappos. I only bought them from last year.

Fashion Stylistic

I purchased this Under Armour camouflage zip up jacket from Marshall's. It was on the clearance rack, size Medium. It is very comfortable wear throughout winter or the fall season. I am starting to like it as much. I just purchased on the weekend last week. Sooner or later I will buy patches to sewn on the back of it. It will be awesome to remake this coat into something that I like. I am very inspired by the military that place emblems on jackets.

Here I am wearing the jacket. Don't mind the lighting if it is too bright. The pockets are slide in slide out for your hands. It is a bomber jacket. I like the design very much. I got more to show you. You won't even believe it.
